Johnson looks on as Trisha Marymoon of Vancouver, B.C., dressed in white and soaked with blood, sits inside a metal cage in front of the Federal Office Building at 915 2nd Avenue. The artist was marking the 31st anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and protesting the building of the Trident submarine at the Bangor naval base on the Kitsap peninsula. Flames on the cage, fueled by propane, are visible at left.
