Hard, a pile driver supervisor, is quoted in the Seattle P.I. as commenting, "These tunnel guys, I don't know where they come from, they're fearless."
The Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel (also Metro Bus Tunnel), is a 1.3-mile-long public transit tunnel that runs underneath downtown Seattle. Constructed between 1987-1990, the $455 million tunnel originally built for buses was updated to include light rail access in 2009.
