Order an ImageIn this image Yelm resident Amanda Van Orden was one of 400 protesting outside the Metro Council chambers at 720 Third Avenue in downtown Seattle. The demonstration was in support of salmon in the Nisqually River rather than the proposed runoff from a Metro plan to spray sewage sludge on 2,200 acres of Thurston County forest land near the river.
