Rudy Filion (1927-2011) was a minor league professional ice hockey player in Seattle. After one season with the Tacoma Rockets of the Pacific Coast Hockey League (PCHL), Filion played fourteen seasons with the Seattle team in the PCHL and its successor, the Western Hockey League (WHL). He played with the Seattle Ironmen (1948-1952), the Seattle Bombers (1952-1954), the Seattle Americans (1955-1958), and the Seattle Totems (1958-1963). Afterwards, he played 2 seasons for teams in the Eastern Hockey League. and coached the Seattle Totems for the 1973-1974 season. Filion was the second highest scorer in the history of the Seattle franchise, after Guyle Fielder, and his number 6 was retired by the Seattle Totems.

William H. MacFarland (1932-2011) played 10 seasons with the Seattle Americans and Seattle Totems ice hockey teams, from 1957-1967, and was the 1962 Western Hockey League (WHL) Most Valuable Player. He was coach and general manager of the Totems for four years (1967-1970), and WHL president for three seasons. During his career as a hockey player, he also attended the University of Washington law school and passed the Washington bar exam.
