Dennis Evans (b. 1946) is a Seattle-based artist who works in multiple media, including ceramic, painting, sculpture, installation, and performance art. Born in Yakima, Evans graduated from the University of Washington (UW) with degrees in chemistry and fine arts. His work has been widely exhibited across the US, in galleries and museums and in public installations at UW, Seattle University, Swedish Hospital, and the Seattle Public Library, among others. Evans often uses motifs and images from mythology and religion in his works.
