Order an Image
Before 2020, Washington state delegates to the Democratic National Convention were selected at party caucuses. In March 1992, a number of caucus groups met at the headquarters of the Central Area Motivation Project in Seattle’s Central District. The precinct voted to send two delegates for then-former California governor Jerry Brown plus one uncommitted delegate. Brown carried eight caucuses meeting there.
