Order an ImageThis image of artistic director Teotha "Tee" Dennard was taken during a rehearsal for "The Playground," a musical by Seattle playwright E. Shockley, about the tough choices many young people face over drugs, friendship, family, and their future. The 36 performers, aged 9 to 19, participated in the production as part of a workshop through the city's summer youth employment program.
