Order an ImageBob and Ann Clardy founded Seattle-based Synergistic Software with the Apple II game Dungeon Campaign release in 1978. The company continued to release role playing games (RPG) throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, until Sierra On-Line and parent company Comp-U-Card International purchased Synergistic Software in 1996, and officially closed the company in 1999.
