This image of longtime KIRO-TV weatherman Harry Wappler (1936-2010), left, and KING-TV weatherman Bob Cram (1926-2017), was taken to promote the First International Bike-a-Thon, sponsored by the Variety Club and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The event held on October 16 raised $29,000 for various area medical services, including Children's Orthopedic Hospital (now Seattle Children's).
