Angel Rodriquez with bicycle frame at R&E Cycles, Seattle, May 10, 1974
Order an ImageIn this image, Angel Rodriguez displays a double-butted bicycle frame that he and Glenn Erickson made at the shop they founded in 1973, R&E Cycles. Still located in its original University District neighborhood, and owned since 1993 by former employee Dan Towle, the shop continues to manufacture, sell, and service R&E Cycles, a line of custom race, touring, tandem, travel, and Rohloff bicycles.
