The DJs are promoting the First International Bike-a-Thon, held October 16, sponsored by the Variety Club and The Post-Intelligencer, and benefiting various area medical services, including Children's Orthopedic Hospital (now Seattle Children's). The individuals are identified from left as: John Archibald "Jack" Morton, KOL; James R. "Jim" French, KVI; "Emperor" Lee Smith, KJR; Marion "Buck" Ritchey, KAYO; Jim Heath, KIRO; and John Ross, KUUU.
