Randy Revelle (1941-) served as King County Executive from 1981-1986. Real estate investor George Leon Argyros (1937-) was the owner of the Mariners from 1981 to 1989. Owned and operated by King County, the Kingdome opened in 1976 and was the home of the Mariners until 1999.
