Order an ImageA young demonstrator listens as speeches are made at a National Organization for Women (NOW) rally held at the King Street Station. After the rally, protesters marched down First Avenue, through Pike Place Market, and ended at Victor Steinbrueck Park. Marchers were asked to bring coat hangers, a symbol of illegal abortions used by pro-choice activists, which were thrown into a coffin at the end of the march.
