In 1932, newspapers across the nation participated in the Olympic Games Boys' Tour, a competition among carriers for an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles for the Tenth Olympiad. The Seattle Times sponsored the local competition, which was won by carriers Albert Jarvimak and John Collings, who secured the most Seattle Times subscriptions during a six week period, out of about 600 Times carriers.
This brochure describes the trip, including the travel itinerary, by ferry and train, for various starting locations around country, and a schedule of the six days spent at the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
