Back to School fashion show program, Seattle, Fall 1971
Contact MOHAI to OrderThe first Frederick & Nelson retail store opened in 1889, right after Seattle's great fire. By 1916, the company was doing so well that it built a large new store at Fifth Avenue and Pike Street, which many people thought was too far out of town. Frederick & Nelson was one of Seattle's landmark companies for over a century before closing in 1992.
This program lists outfits shown at a 1971 High School Fashion Show at Frederick & Nelson and available at the main store's fourth floor High School shop and the Young Seattle Shops in Bellevue, Southcenter and Aurora Village. An announcement card for the show is included.
