Fashion stylist Helen Igoe (1870-1962) started work as a buyer at Seattle’s McDougall-Southwick department store in 1907. By 1910, she had opened her own high fashion store, the Helen Igoe Shop for Women. A frequent traveler to New York and Paris, Igoe brought Parisian style to Seattle in the early decades of the 20th century.

The shop sent this invitation to its customers to promote its 1925 spring and early summer collection of New York and Paris fashion.
