Cast stone statue representing "Mastery," circa 1927
Order an ImageThis image of a cast stone figure representing "Mastery" was taken prior to its placement above the entrance to Suzzallo Library on the University of Washington campus in Seattle. The figure, created by sculptor Allan Clark from a live model in his Tacoma studio, was fabricated in cast stone by the Pacific Stone Company of Seatttle.
