This photo of the exterior of Suzzallo Library on the University of Washington campus features three cast stone figures above the main entrance which represent "Thought," "Inspiration," and "Mastery." The figures were created by artist Allan Clark and fabricated by the Pacific Stone Company of Seattle. Though allegorical, the figures were modelled by real people at Clark's Tacoma studio.
