Order an ImageThe twin-domed First Presbyterian Church faced the southwest corner of 7th Avenue and Seneca Street. It was razed in the late 1960s and replaced by a less ornate, poured concrete First Presbyterian Church.

Caption on verso: The First Presbyterian Church of Seattle has the distinction of having the largest enrollment of any church of like denomination in the Union. The seating capacity is about 2500. Total value, including furnishings, organ and location is about $350,000.

Handwritten on verso: This is "Doc" Matthews' church. Probably you have heard of him down there. He is very sensational. I started to the U. of W. last Mon. and like it fine. Erma.
Addressed to Miss Esther Daly in San Francisco.
