The Century 21 Exposition (also known as the Seattle World's Fair) ran from April 21 to October 21, 1962. Nearly 10 million people attended the fair. The exposition's displays and attractions were centered around themes of science and technology, but included showcases for a variety of world cultures. The fair commission produced a variety of souvenir materials, including guidebooks, maps, postcards, and posters.

This oversized postcard features an illustration of an aerial view of the fairgrounds, with five vignette photographs of the fair on either side. Made by a company in Arizona that produced similar "World's Largest Picture Kards" for other cities at the time, this postcard is unsent.
