Order an ImageMotorcycle hillclimbing was a popular sport even as long ago as the 1930s. The object of the competition was to see who could get to the hilltop first without falling off his bike. This rider wears a football helmet and rides an Indian motorcycle. The Indian Motorcycle Company was the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer before World War I.
