In this image Myrlie Louise (Beasley) Evers-Williams (1933-), second from left, chats with three unidentified women at a reception in the Mount Zion Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Ms. Evers-Williams, widow of slain civil-rights leader Medgar Evers, was in Seattle for the dedication of the Medgar Evers Pool near Garfield High School in the Central District neighborhood.
