Nearly 30 years of electric trolley service on the Seattle-Everett Interurban Railway ended on February 21, 1939. Cars 51 and 53 left Eighth Avenue and Stewart Street in downtown Seattle early that morning. This photo shows a small crowd of people gathered for the last trip of the venerable Interurban.
