Visitors to the Fair could ride the Monorail, take the elevator to the top of the Space Needle, and see the exhibits in five themed areas: The World of Science, The World of Tomorrow, The World of Commerce & Industry, The World of Art, and The World of Entertainment. Nearly 10 million people visited the Fair before it closed on October 21, 1962.
