Guyle Fielder (b. 1930) is a former professional ice hockey player best known for his time in the minor Western Hockey League (WHL). In his 22 seasons with the WHL, he played primarily for the Seattle Totems, but also played for teams in New Westminster, BC, Salt Lake City, and Portland, Oregon. Fielder also played 15 major league games for three different teams in the National Hockey League. Fielder won the WHL Most Valuable Player award six times and was the lead scorer in the league nine times, with four seasons of over 100 points. He retired from hockey in 1973, having scored or assisted in 1,929 points, setting a professional hockey record. In 2019 the new Seattle NHL franchise, which became the Seattle Kraken, announced the creation of the annual Guyle Fielder Award for the Seattle NHL player showing outstanding sportsmanship and leadership.
