Founded in 1861, the Territorial University of Washington was located in downtown Seattle until 1895, when the campus relocated north of Lake Union in what is now know as the University District. This aerial view shows several campus buildings including the Liberal Arts Quadrangle. Clockwise from left: Miller Hall, Smith Hall, Gowen Hall, Suzzallo Library, Savery Hall, Denny Hall, and Raitt Hall. Husky Stadium is visible in the background.
