Order an ImageA yearly tradition since 1920, the Seattle Yacht Club's Opening Day parade through the Montlake Cut is a festive celebration of the area's water activities. This view, looking west, shows boats of all shapes and sizes lining up to pass through the Montlake Cut and the raised Montake bridge to the waters of Portage Bay and Lake Union. The University of Washington stadium is visible on the left.
