Order an Image
At the end of July 1920, the Seattle employees of the Western Union Telegraph Company gathered in an area park for their annual picnic. They hired photographer William Cowan to take this group portrait to commemorate the event. Cowan operated a photographic studio in his home at 4556 University Way in Seattle's University District. His business stamp advertised "portraits, groups, views, copying, enlarging & framing."
