Morris Jerome "Morrie" Alhadeff (1914-1994), a Seattle native, spent 41 years working for the Washington Jockey Club, which operated the Longacres racetrack in Renton, ending his career as General Manager and Chairman of the Board.Prior to his work at Longacres, Alhadeff was employed by several radio stations using the radio name Jerry Morris.
