Order an ImageBetween 1908 and 1916, the University of Washington football team won the state championship title nine years in a row. Led by coach Gil Dobie, they played college teams from Washington and Oregon, as well as teams from area high schools and athletic clubs. They beat the Rainier Valley Athletic Club with a score of 81 to 0.
