Order an ImageAfter the University of Washington moved to its present campus, it put together a master plan for the development of its downtown Seattle property. The plan included office buildings, a theater, a hotel, and stores. The White and Henry Buildings are two of three connected office buildings built along Fourth Avenue as part of this plan.
This photo shows the White and Henry Buildings from the corner of Union Street and Fourth Avenue. In 1974, the buildings were torn down to make room for Rainier Square.
