Alhambra Theatre, Seattle, circa 1909

The Alhambra Theatre opened on July 12, 1909 at the southwest corner of Fifth and Pine Streets. As a home for vaudeville, stock, and movies, the Alhambra stayed in business for many years, for a time renamed the Wilkes. The building later became Best's Apparel and then Nordstrom's.
