Order an ImageThis version of Lawton School existed only from 1908 until 1913. It was located on 25th Avenue West just north of Elmore St. in Magnolia. The property was condemned for construction of the Great Northern Railroad cut and Gilmore Avenue. A new site was purchased by the railroad and deeded to the school district, and this is where the current Lawton School stands today.
