Paths along the lakeshore at Madrona Park, circa 1912

Order an Image
Madrona Park was named for its madrona trees. The original owners of the private park built wooden beach swings, lakeside paths, a boat dock, and rustic shelters. Visitors could sit in the swings or follow the path along the lake between Madrona and Leschi. This photo, taken around 1912, shows part of Madrona Park.
