Order an ImageThe first building on the present campus of the University of Washington was Denny Hall, originally known as the Administration Building. At that time, all university activities took place in this single building. Denny Hall had science labs, a library, a natural history museum, administrative and faculty offices, ten classrooms, a music room, a lecture hall, and an assembly hall seating 736 people.
