Order an ImageVaudeville was a popular form of live entertainment in the 1920s. The Palace Hip was one of Seattle's most popular vaudeville theaters. It cost only ten cents to see seven live performances of singing, dancing, and comedy. The theater was located at the corner of Second and Spring Streets. In this photo, the entertainers pose on the ornate stage for what looks like the grand finale of their show. However, since there don't appear to be any players in the orchestra pit, the photo was probably staged for publicity.
