Leschi Park Pavilion, circa 1910

Order an Image
From the 1890s through the 1920s, the pavilion at Leschi Park was a popular place for Seattle residents to have fun. Here, they could wander in the gardens or enjoy dancing in the pavilion that extended out over the water. The pavilion was torn down after it became too expensive to maintain.

This photo shows the Leschi Park Pavilion and the gardens in about 1910.
