Order an ImageThe Hotel Gowman was one of Seattle's downtown hotels built to accommodate large numbers of visitors. Here the hotel is decorated with flags and buntings, as well as banners indicating the Kiwanis International were holding a convention here. T. Harry Gowman was the president of the Kiwanis. The building later became known as the Stewart Hotel.
