By the late 1920s, Seattle had a number of neighborhood service stations. These offered Seattle car owners a place to buy gasoline and get their cars cleaned or repaired. The gas station in this photo was located on Capitol Hill at 321 15th Avenue North, at the corner of East Thomas Street.
