Renton High School, 1925
Order an ImageRenton's first high school was built in 1911, at a cost of $65,000. The clock in the school's tower rang on the hour and half hour and could be heard all over town. By 1931, this building was too small for the growing student body. A larger high school replaced it in 1932, and the old school building was torn down in 1941.
