Egyptian Theatre, Seattle, November 11, 1940
Order an ImageThe Egyptian Theater at 4543 University Way N.E. opened on Christmas Day of 1925. Built by T.E. Murphy, it seated 1300 people and claimed to be one of the largest and finest suburban movie houses in the Northwest. The building was later altered and used for retail stores.
