The prominent street in the picture, which is visible on both the left and right edges of the frame, is likely Occidental Avenue South, which runs south from Yesler Avenue in Pioneer Square. Several prominent landmarks are visible in the image, from left: the Smith Tower at Second Avenue and Yesler Way; the center wing of Harborview Medical Center on First Hill; the clock tower at King Street Station; and the Marine Hospital on Beacon Hill. The Crane building, in front of the King Street Station tower, is located on Second Avenue South.
