Order an Image
Rowe Machine Works was located at the foot of 24th Avenue NW in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, on the Lake Washington Ship Canal. Rowe Machine Works operated at the same location through the 1980s.

In this photograph, the tug Tatoosh and fishing vessel Grizzly II are docked in front of the Rowe Machine Works building, perhaps for repairs. Barbee Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Corp. is visible to the left, at the foot of 26th Avenue.
