Sylvester Brothers Company, Wholesale Grocers, was located in Pioneer Square at 312-316 Second Avenue South, occupying the Moses Building. The Moses Building was originally constructed in 1900 for Mrs. Sarah Moses and still stands with a historical site designation. The building was originally five stories, but lost its top two stories in the 1949 Seattle earthquake.

The letterhead of this invoice features a small, highly detailed drawing of the five-story Moses Building as it appeared in 1910, with two horse carriages waiting in front to load grocery supplies. The typewritten invoice for sales to I. W. Van Winkle in June of 1910 includes a dozen rolls of toilet paper for 80 cents, a 10 lb can of maple syrup for $1.40, and a dozen cans of Skipper Sardines for $1.50.
