She was issued the Second Grade Teacher's Certificate pictured here by the King County Board of Examiners, Isaac P. Rich, H. T. Jones, and Katherine F. Cheasty. Handwritten on the certificate are Ms. White's scores in the 10 subjects she was tested in: Orthography, Reading, Arithmetic, Physiology, Theory and practice of Teaching, Penmanship, School Law of Washington Territory, English Grammar and Composition, Geography, and Constitution and History of the U. S.
