Rosamond (or Rosamonde) L. Crawford (1897-1969) was born in Ohio to Donald V. and Agnes (Watkins) Crawford. The family moved to Seattle between 1900-1910, and Rosamond attended Lincoln High School. She studied piano under prominent Seattle music teachers Silvio and Elaine (French) Risegari. About 1920 she moved to New York for further training at the La Forge-Berumen Studios, later becoming assistant to Frank La Forge (1879-1953). Rosamond died in Seattle in 1969.
