On November 17, 1915, Professor and Mrs. Adolph Edgren celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary with a music festival and speeches at Seattle’s Good Templar Hall. Professor Edgren had previously operated a large music school in San Francisco, and in 1906 he founded the Edgren School of Music in Seattle at 811 East Howell Street.

Inside the leaflet are images of the couple. Professor Edgren holds what appears to be a piece of sheet music, entitled “She Lives in Dear Seattle.” On the back of the announcement is a small ad for the music school. Students could study voice as well as keyboard and stringed instruments.
