Monorail at Westlake Station, Seattle World's Fair, 1962

The Monorail was built for the Fair by the West German company, Alweg International, to demonstrate "the cure for metropolitan traffic ills." This photo shows one of the two Monorail trains at Westlake Station. At the time the photo was taken, Westlake Center had not yet been built.
