Seattle High School football team, 1906
Order an ImageThis 1906 group portrait shows the Seattle High School football team. Some of the players on this team were also members of the 1904 team which won the Pacific Northwest Championship and was coached by R. Perry Short. Wee Coyle was a member of both teams, and this photo is part of the William Jennings "Wee" Coyle collection which chronicles Coyle's teammates and sports career in high school and college, as well as his later career as Lieutenant Governor of Washington State.
Seattle High School (later Broadway School) opened on Broadway Street in 1902 and graduated its last class in 1946.
