The Model 40-B4, which first flew on October 5, 1928, was the major production model of Boeing’s mail plane series. The plane had space for four passengers and 500 pounds of mail. The plane pictured here has a logo of an eagle on the body, with the words "Pratt & Whitney, U.S.A. Dependable Engines."
